Akinari Kamiki
You first meet Akinari while hanging out with Maiko, the Girl at the Shrine, who calls her new friend Stripped Shirt. He looks vaguely creepy with his grey hair, gaunt body and strange posture. As you begin his social link, the Sun, though, you learn his appearance his due to the lethal disease slowly consuming him. Although he looks 30, he actually is the same age as you.
Akinari is a lonely young man who hates to be pitied by people for his sickness, and is angry at life for giving him such a bad hand to play with. He finds solace from his miserable life in books, and hopes to find a meaning for his life in one, one day, if he has time to.
The Sun (XIX)
In tarot, the Sun major arcana, number 19, represents optimism, joy, and most importantly enlightement, the victory of the conscious mind over the fears and illusions of the unconscious.
